Komatsuya – an intimate inn
This wooden-structured Japanese style inn offers warm hospitality and features an open-air hot spring baths that can be rented privately, and a menu offering fresh seafood.
It was founded at the end of the Edo period. It is a small Japanese-style hot spring inn. The old wooden building has a warm atmosphere, which is complemented by the warm hospitality shown to its guests. There are seven rooms with different décor and a banquet hall. It is a quiet, relaxing place. Only three to four groups of guests are accepted each day. The three privately rentable hot spring baths, mean that you can easily relax there and get rid of everyday stress. Please enjoy the menu that features seasonal produce and fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan.
Features open-air hot springs, privately rentable hot spring baths, rooms with open-air hot spring baths attached, can be used for a daytime stay, meals can be served in the rooms, use of baths only is possible, suitable for guests traveling alone, water used at the inn is drawn from the Iwamuro hot spring.
